In our AI Maker Lab, students explore the exciting world of artificial intelligence through hands-on projects that combine coding, creativity, and real-world technology. Rather than just using AI tools, they learn how AI systems are built, trained, and applied by creating their own models and interactive experiences.

Students begin by understanding how AI learns—training models to recognize patterns in images, text, and sound while exploring concepts like bias and data quality. As they progress, they apply these ideas in creative ways, building AI-powered games, generating art and music, and designing interactive projects that bring their ideas to life.

The course expands into physical computing, where students use tools like micro:bit sensors to collect real-world data and build smart, responsive systems. They also explore AI agents and learn how to design systems with personality and purpose. Throughout the program, students engage with important topics like ethics, responsible AI use, and how data shapes intelligent systems.

By the end of the course, students develop a portfolio of meaningful, AI-enhanced projects and a deeper understanding of how to think, create, and problem-solve with one of today’s most important technologies.
