STEMoween: Code or Treat Hunt
Hunt ghosts, code robots, and crack the code to the candy chest
Sunday, October 25 · 2:30–4:30 PM
201 E 83rd Street, Upper East Side · Free · Ages 6+
Oh no! Someone stole the candy from our cauldron and locked it in a chest. Complete four tech challenges, each revealing one digit of the code to unlock the candy.
- Haunted Sound Lab: Turn pumpkins into a spooky soundboard with Makey Makey.
- Ghost Hunters: Track down the real ghost with a micro:bit detector.
- Trick or Treat Maze: Steer a robot through a monster-filled neighborhood.
- Haunted Express: Code a train to stop at the right haunted house.
Collect all four digits, crack the code, and claim your candy. Finish with time to spare? Take on a bonus challenge for a Master Hacker badge.
The hunt takes about an hour, so arrive by 3:30 PM to have time to unlock the candy. Costumes and friends encouraged! Just make sure to RSVP by Wednesday, October 21 to reserve your spot.
Indigenous Peoples' Day Holiday Camp

No school? No problem. Our holiday camp fills the day off with project-based coding, tech challenges, and hands-on activities, so kids go home with something they built and are proud of. Spots are limited, so sign up early.
