A Summer of Learning, Creativity, and Confidence

Camp Coding Space gives kids the opportunity to build real technology skills while having a summer they’re excited about. Held Monday through Friday throughout the summer on the Upper East Side, in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and in Port Washington, Long Island, our camps combine hands-on learning, collaboration, and movement in a fun, supportive environment.

Each day is thoughtfully designed to keep students engaged, curious, and motivated, while helping them develop skills that last far beyond the summer.

Morning: Core Coding & Problem-Solving

In the mornings, campers focus on project-based coding that builds strong foundations in programming, logic, and computational thinking. Lessons are interactive and age-appropriate, guiding students through the process of turning ideas into working projects.

Campers learn how to:

  • Break down complex problems
  • Think critically and creatively
  • Build, test, and improve their own programs
  • Collaborate with peers and share ideas

Our experienced instructors make learning approachable and engaging, helping students gain confidence as they build real skills.

Afternoon: Tech Pathways

In the afternoons, campers choose a Tech Pathway, allowing them to explore an area that genuinely excites them through extended, hands-on projects. These pathways give students time to go deeper, experiment, and discover new interests—all while continuing to build core tech skills.

Tech Pathways include:

  • Artificial Intelligence Pathway
    Learn how AI works and create simple intelligent systems through guided projects.
  • Game Design Pathway
    Design and build interactive games while learning logic, storytelling, and user experience.
  • Robotics Pathway
    Program robots and solve real-world challenges using sensors, code, and creative thinking.
  • Digital Art Pathway
    Combine creativity and technology through visual design, animation, and interactive media.

Each pathway emphasizes creativity, exploration, and problem-solving, ensuring students stay engaged while learning advanced concepts in an accessible way.

Not Your Typical Coding Camp

At The Coding Space, we specialize in providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for kids to have fun, be challenged, and discover their passions. Our teachers never lecture; instead, they ask targeted questions using the Socratic Method to get students thinking and problem solving on their own. By focusing on the development of computational thinking skills, intellectual confidence, self-expression, and independence, our students learn to code while growing as thinkers, learners, and leaders.
